What are message credits and how do they work?

Message credits are a way to measure and track the usage of AI-generated responses in Thinkstack. Each time the AI responds to a user, it consumes a specific number of message credits based on the AI model used.

Every AI response equals one message credit, but the total credits consumed depend on the model you’ve selected for your chatbot.

GPT-4-0 Mini: Consumes 1 message credit per response (default).

GPT-3.5: Consumes 1 message credit per response.

GPT-4 Turbo: Consumes 15 message credits per response.

GPT-4o: Consumes 8 message credits per response.

This system helps manage resource usage efficiently based on the Intelligence of the AI model chosen for your chatbot.

Is there a limit on the number of users who can interact with my chatbot?

Do unused message credits roll over to the next billing cycle?

Starting at the beginning of every month, the message credit is reset to zero, and unused message credit does not roll over to the next month.

What's the maximum amount of data I can use to train a single chatbot?

The amount of data you can use to train the chatbot depends on the knowledge base characters in the knowledge base, which includes website URLs, PDF documentation, Q&A, Notion, CSV and data sources from Zaps (Zapier Integration). The number of characters allowed is determined by the plan you have chosen.

How can I check the knowledge base characters count of my training documents?

Total number of knowledge base characters consumed is shown on the header of analytics page of each chatbot.

Are there additional charges for integrating my chatbot with external platforms?

There are no additional charges for integrations with external applications. However, your chosen plan must have the integration feature enabled.

What does "unlimited message credit" mean in the Ultra Plan?

In the Ultra plan, the message credit is unlimited. You receive 30,000 message credits for free, and to access the unlimited option, you must provide your own OpenAI key.

What support options are available for each subscription tier?

What happens if I exceed my plan's message credit limit?

Each subscription tier includes monthly message credits. If your current plan's message credits run out, you can upgrade to the next tier (Free → Basic → Pro → Ultra) based on your message credit requirements. In the Ultra Plan, you receive 30,000 message credits for free, and to enjoy unlimited credits, you’ll need to provide your own OpenAI key.

What does "Website Links" mean in the context of plans?

Each plan allows a specific number of website links to be crawled monthly for training the chatbot. The limits are as follows: Free - 50, Basic - 500, Pro - 5,000, and Ultra - 10,000 per month. Choose a plan based on the number of web pages associated with your parent URL to ensure all your required website URLs are included as data sources.

How do I decide which plan is best for me?

If you’re just starting out and want to explore, the Free plan is a great choice with basic features. The Basic plan is perfect for small businesses that need up to 3,000 monthly message credits. For growing businesses, the Pro plan offers advanced automation, 5 chatbots, API, Zapier, WhatsApp, Slack integrations. What payment methods are accepted?

How do I view and manage my subscription?

To view and manage your subscription, simply log in to your Thinkstack account. On the account home page, you'll find your current plan name and its activation status. If you'd like to upgrade to a higher tier, just click on the 'Upgrade Now' button. This will allow you to seamlessly switch to the next plan that best fits your needs.

What happens if payment fails?

If your payment fails, you will receive a notification from Thinkstack about the issue. Your subscription may be temporarily suspended until the payment is successfully processed. You can update your payment information through your account settings and retry the payment. If the payment is not resolved within a certain period, your account may be downgraded to the Free plan or access to certain features may be limited until the issue is fixed.

What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?

If you cancel your Thinkstack subscription, your data will remain accessible until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, you will be moved to the Free plan, retaining all data associated with your account up to that point. However, certain features will be limited based on the Free plan's capabilities. You also have the option to delete your account, including all data stored in Thinkstack's databases.

What are knowledge base characters, and how do they vary across different Thinkstack subscription plans?

The "knowledge base characters" refer to the amount of text or content your chatbot can store to respond to user queries. The character size varies depending on the plan you choose. The Free Plan offers 500,000 characters for your knowledge base, while the Basic Plan increases this to 12,000,000 characters. The Pro Plan provides 15,000,000 characters for a more extensive knowledge base, and the Ultra Plan expands further to 25,000,000 characters, allowing for larger and more detailed knowledge storage. The more characters available, the more information your chatbot can store and utilize to respond to users effectively.
