Log in to your Thinkstack account, select your chatbot, and go to the 'Sources' tab. Click on 'Notion' in the sidebar, then click 'Connect Notion' and follow the instructions to authorize access. Check out our product help docs for more details.
Your Notion workspace should include well-organized, organization or brand-related documents, such as support guides, product information, release notes, and other relevant materials that you want your chatbot to use when responding to user queries.
Thinkstack requires permission to access the specific Notion pages or databases you select for training. During the authorization process, you can choose which pages to share, ensuring that only the intended content is accessible for chatbot training.
The training duration depends on the amount and complexity of the content from your Notion pages. Once you initiate training, the status will display 'Training in Progress.' Typically, this process completes within a few minutes, but larger datasets may require more time.
If you edit a Notion page after it has been connected and used for training, you should retrain your chatbot to ensure it incorporates the latest information. This ensures that the chatbot's responses remain accurate and up-to-date.
Once the training process is complete, the status will change to 'Trained' in the Thinkstack interface. You can then test your chatbot by asking questions related to the Notion content to assess its responses.
Currently, Thinkstack's chatbot can only be trained using text-based documents. Support for training with tabular data, such as tables or CSV files notion pages, will be rolled out in a future update.
If the chatbot's responses are inaccurate, ensure that you’ve selected the correct and relevant Notion pages for training and verify that the content within those pages is well organized and clear. Retrain the chatbot to reflect any recent updates, and if the issue persists, contact Thinkstack support for further assistance.
