Integrate Your Chatbot with Messenger

This guide will help you seamlessly integrate your Thinkstack chatbot with your Facebook Messenger account.

By completing the integration, you’ll enable your chatbot to respond to messages on your Facebook page, making it easier to interact with customers on their preferred platform.

Steps for Integration#

  1. Select Your Chatbot: Log in to your Thinkstack account and select the chatbot you wish to integrate with your Facebook Messenger account. Select the chatbot for Messenger Integration

  2. Navigate to Integrations: Go to the top navigation bar and select Integrations. From the left sidebar, choose Facebook Messenger.

  3. Connect Your Facebook Pages: Click on the Connect your Facebook pages button. A Facebook login window will appear.

    If you're not already logged into Facebook, you’ll be prompted to log in. Otherwise, it will display your active Facebook account.

  4. Choose Your Facebook Account: Click "Continue as [Your Account Name]" to proceed.

  5. Select Facebook Pages: Choose the Facebook page(s) where you want the chatbot to respond to messages. Once selected, click Next.

  6. Grant Permissions: Review the access request to allow ThinkstackAI to manage and access Page conversations on Messenger and show a list of Pages you manage. Click the Save button to confirm and proceed. Grant Permissions for accessing page conversations and save the permisssion

  7. Confirmation of Connection: Once permissions are granted, you will see a message confirming that Thinkstack AI has been connected to your Facebook account. Click Got it to complete the connection process.

  8. Complete the Setup: After completing the steps, you’ll be redirected back to the Thinkstack Messenger Integration page. It will display the connected page(s).
    Make sure you are connected to the desried page that you wanted to integrate with your chatbot. You can see the pages that are connected here

  9. Test the Chatbot on Messenger: Go to your Facebook page and send a test message through Messenger to ensure the chatbot is responding correctly.

All the features available in the Thinkstack console are fully functional in the Messenger-integrated chatbot as well. Ensure that these features align with your needs by testing them thoroughly.

Unlink Messenger#

If you need to remove the integration, go back to the Thinkstack Messenger Integration page and click Unlink next to the connected page. Click on unlink to remove the page from Thinkstack Messenger Integration
